Why Teams Switch from Top Producer
Dated interface built for a different era
Top Producer has been around since 1982, and parts of the UI still feel that way. The workflow is click-heavy, and the mobile experience lags behind modern CRMs. Base is built mobile-first with a clean, fast interface.
High price for the features you actually use
Top Producer bundles MLS integrations, e-marketing, and transaction tools into plans that start at $129/mo. If you only need CRM and pipeline management, you're paying for features you don't use.
Slow to adopt modern features
While competitors have added AI-powered tools and automation, Top Producer's feature updates have been incremental. Call recording, transcription, and smart automation are either missing or limited.
Complex setup and steep onboarding
Top Producer's depth comes with a cost: configuring pipelines, action plans, and integrations takes significant time. Many agents report needing weeks to get fully set up.
